Based out of Port Clinton, Bercaw Sportfishing is your ticket to creating new memories fishing Lake Erie and learning with Capt. Drew!
Capt. Drew is a personable guide with one goal in mind, to get you on some fish and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 7-hour trips, you can target species like Walleye, Perch, and Bass, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
When fishing with Captain Drew, you can expect to learn a new trick or two. Lake Erie is his playground, and he’s known for his action-packed trips and friendly character. His knowledge is endless, and he has a reputation as one of the most hard-working captains in Lake Erie.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 30’ Sportcraft boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet and ice box. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip. Children are welcome aboard, so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

Great October Walleye Fishing
We had a great day of fishing with Captain Drew and his mate Matt. It was my boys first time walleye fishing and I was concerned about the slow fishing reports that we were seeing over the past couple weeks but Captain Drew found the fish and we ended up with 18 keepers! The fishing was tough with the fish hugging the bottom but the boys learned a lot and we're looking forward to our next time out with Bercaw Sportfishing. I highly recommend Bercaw and Captain Drew!
