Little Secret Charters
Running angling trips out of Sunset Harbor, Captn Inman invites you on an adventure to view the spectacular scenery that Brunswick County has to offer. Captain Inman has been boating the area from N Myrtle to the Cape Fear River since the late 80’s and knows the area very well.
Capt. Inman will do his best to show you the fishing possibilities Brunswick County has to offer. He specializes in inshore, nearshore and offshore ensuring you have a fun day full of fishing. His mission is to get you on that bite! This involves 2 hour trips for the kids, 4 hr inshore and nearshore trips, and an all day offshore trip.
You'll be fishing from a 22’ Grady White Tournament boat with enough room for up to 6 passengers, 4 anglers at any time. All rods, reels, terminal tackle, and fishing licenses are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. You'll find free snacks and drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring the kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Fantastic Fishing Experience
We had a great morning on the water with Captain Inman and his Mate, Dylan. The Captain had good communication in advance of the trip, wanted to know what would make a good day of fishing for us, and worked hard to make that happen. Fortunately the weather cooperated for us to get out on the ocean, one of our goals. Our first catch was a tiny shark - which the kids loved. Inman and Dylan knew just where to take us for a great catch both on the ocean and in the inlet. We caught a lot of fish! At the end of the day Dylan cleaned and bagged the fish that could be kept. We're looking forward to that meal! Overall we learned a lot, had fun, and made memories. If we come back to this area of NC we would definitely fish again with Captain Inman.

He was diligent in messaging every step along the way- even messaging the night before to let us know the ocean conditions and that things were set! Sharks!
A great trip out with Captain Inman, as always! Ocean fishing trip this time vs intracoastal. We saw many dolphins and jellyfish, and 2 lighthouses. It was really cool seeing the bonito during their feeding frenzy, popping wildly out of the water over and over as they caught their food. We tried a number of secret fishing spots, but our favorite hands down was Boss Hogg. We caught some pinfish, black sea bass, a toad fish, and shark...Mark snagged 4 shark in short order, one after the other! The catch and release was instigated by the smart sharks themselves thankfully 🤣 Captain Inman makes each fishing charter unique and special. (There is always a bit of local history and folklore stories about the area included, free of charge.) Thank you for taking us out, we love that we got to fish in your Dad's special boat this time.
