Based out of Placida, Reel Time Charters LLC is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Capt. Russell is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, jigging and drift fishing depending on what you're going after. As part of their 6 to 10-hour trips, you can target species like Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Porgies, Amberjack and much more depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 2020 28’ Sea Hunt boat that can safely take up to 5 anglers. This boat features a toilet, an ice-box, and a wireless trolling motor to keep you on the fish.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
There will be complimentary water aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks (no glass please), lunch, and snacks.

Captain put us right on the fish from start to finish. Hell yes! The service and attention to detail was exceptional from start to finish. Hell yes! Professional tips and tricks were shared from start to finish. Hell yes! And no one was left wanting at the end...except maybe to stay out a little longer (which the captain even granted!) Hell yes! Thanks again for everything. Make no mistake when I say creme de la creme, I mean it. Hell yes I mean it!

Captain Russell was awesome. The boat was excellent, the captain was excellent, the equipment was excellent, the seas were excellent, and the fishing was excellent. Captain Russell put us on the fish immediately, filleted them and bagged them. We will 100% go fishing with Captain Russell on our next trip down here. We have been on several fishing charters and this was the best! Thanks Captain!

Great family day!
We work hard and really have a day away from our phones. The weather was perfect and the seas enjoyable. Captain kept us on the fish and busy all day. Had lots of fish to throw back cause of out of season or under size. Our take home fish was a total of 82 keeper fish. Can’t wait to go out again! Perhaps a night time booking is next! Thanks for a fun day.

Offshore with Captain Russell
Capt Russell is extremely knowledgeable and competent. He was also super personable to all of us (me, my wife and 16 year old daughter). He is out there to catch fish, which we did! Once a spot dried up he was happy to pull up lines and go to another spot to catch more fish. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Fabulous Fishing Day
This was my first time deep sea fishing. Russ made it so easy and enjoyable. Very knowledgeable and attention to details to making your trip amazing. We told him what we wanted to do or try and he made it happen. Can't wait for my next trip with him.
