Paul's Fishing Charters runs angling trips out of Paphos and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. Paul is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 4-hour trips, you can target species like Tuna, Swordfish, and Marlin, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your adventure begins on board a 22' Jeanneau boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet and an ice box. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it.

After the trip, you'll share all the spoils with the crew. If you have questions about the specifics, please get in touch with the captain. The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks and drinks, but you're welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.

Hooks were broken and missing

It was a nice experience for the group but as it was much anticipated for real fishing, not just an attraction, it was a bit disappointing to realise in the middle of the trip that some hooks were missing and others broken.Nevertheless the owner of the boat was friendly and accommodating

Hello Maria, sorry you were disappointed with the trip, however just to put things in perspective, it is the start of tuna season and when we set off all the gear was set up with lures with brand new hooks for trolling, targeting tuna. The guys weren’t satisfied with trolling and wanted to do some bottom fishing so I changed the lures to jigs. I have to admit I was disappointed with the jigs  myself as they had only been used a maximum of half a dozen times and you don’t expect hooks to break that quickly. I have since bought new jigs and new hooks to try and ensure this doesn’t happen again. Once again my apologies and hope I have rectified the situation to prevent a reoccurrence .

Weather was amazing, great being out on the ocean, to me catching fish, would have made it perfect.

Paul knows his stuff and his equipment and boat are spot on. Sadly the fishing gods just werent on our side. The weather, the views ans the relaxing were superb and on any other day we could of been bbq'ing tuna for supper.
