Jamestown is the second boat to join Team Good Mojo! She is a 38' Boston Whaler Outrage with plenty of room for 4 guests and 2 crew. This boat is fully rigged for pretty much every type of fishing. In the spacious rear cockpit, you'll find two live wells and all the fishing equipment needed for a fun and relaxing day of fishing. Inside and around the helm station, there is plenty of seating area and an incredible 360-degree view of everything around you, whether you want to admire the scenery or watch the spread when trolling for Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish. The helm area has an array of electronics to help you find the best locations to fish and increase your chances of landing 'the big one'!
Typically, you'll target Sailfish, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Dorado, Blackfin Tuna, and Snapper but you can up your game and Shark fish or go out into the deeper water for Swordfish. When live bait is required, this adds an extra cost to the charter. The crew uses many different techniques, e.g. bottom fishing, trolling, live bait, kite fishing, sight casting, and deep dropping, but please tell the captain if there's a specific type of fishing that interests you.
The crew mostly fishes in depths of 100 to 1,200 feet which puts you right in the gulf stream where the best fishing is. This can change depending on the latest intel on the best places to fish and species to target. Captains Mike and Ricky pay close attention to this and will always recommend what fish to chase. Please remember it is fishing and not catching.

Excellent day on the water. Capt. Mike and his stellar mate Chip provided our group with an outstanding experience. Capt. I went out with Captain Mike along with my dad and brother. We caught seven fish total. I caught a mahi which tasted incredible, a jackfish, a huge tuna, and to cap it off, an enormous 86-inch sailfish! Best fishing experience, will definitely be going again in the future.

I enjoy surf fishing but have had little experience with Offshore charters . I had hoped for a hands on experience but most of the trip was hands off except for reeling in the catch . By no fault of the crew , it was a slow day and we only caught three fish. At one point I asked to be allowed to fish and the crew readily obliged but that was at the end of the charter . I do not want to be unfair , and maybe my not knowing what to expect is to blame . Maybe I should have asked to be more hands on sooner but again I wasn’t sure what the norm was . The crew were very nice and super friendly and extended the trip to compensate for the low yield, If I had to do it again I would make my expectations clearer .
