Based out of Sneads Ferry, Atlantic Blue Charters has everything needed for a fun-filled day fishing these waters!
Capt. Drew is obsessed with fishing, and he’ll go above and beyond to show you an outstanding experience. You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 4 to 12-hour trips, you can target species like King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Seabass, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, and Wahoo, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
You’ll be fishing from a 34 caymas boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. Only boat in the topsail/sneads ferry area with a seakeeper 2!! With the seakeeper and the hual design. It makes for a very very smooth and dry ride. Having the seakeeper will make a rough day feel flat! It also includes a toilet, ice box, and wireless trolling motor. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain, so you don’t have to worry about it.
You will share the catch with the crew, contact the captain before the trip if you have any questions about keeping the catch. Capt. Andrew runs trips together with his first mate, who’s there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done. There will be complimentary drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer. Kids are welcome aboard.

Half day trip with Capt Drew
Our experience started off with some upcoming bad weather in the forecast but Capt Drew was very informative and helpful in rescheduling a day that would be safer on the water. Upon arrival Capt Drew was on the deck ready for our arrival. During the trip the fish weren't biting much but fish are very unpredictable. Capt Drew new I get seasick easily and tried his best to accommodate that. We trolled mostly to try to avoid anyone's getting sick but since the fish weren't biting much we switched it up and stopped the boat. The kids started catching some smaller fish and having a blast. I would highly recommend Capt Drew as he was very friendly, personable and professional. While fishing he chatted with the kiddos about the fish and fishing experiences he's had ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best birthday ever
We went out for my daughter’s 17th birthday and it was the best birthday ever!!! Drew was fantastic in making sure she caught some big fish. He was great in making sure everything was what we were expecting and he listened to what we said. I would recommend going out with him as you will not be disappointed! We look forward to booking again with Drew.

Great day on the water & plenty of fish for a few dinners!
I’m certain that this fishing trip will be the highlight of our little vacation. The captain was knowledgeable and so friendly. The first mate was so helpful and even provided on board entertainment. We caught King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel. We will definitely book with them again the next time we are in town.

Great Trip With Atlantic Blue
I chartered an afternoon trip with Atlantic Blue, July 26, and had a great trip. I am a fish biologist and can recognize a good charter captain. Drew did a super job. He knows how to locate and catch fish. He is also very pleasant and a good conversationalist. We caught an eight pound Mahi Mahi and a 13 pound King Mackerel. I felt the trip was an excellent value and highly recommend it to anyone.
