Ali-Kat Too

4.9/5 (13 reviews)
Atlantic Beach Causeway 600, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512, United States

Ali-Kat Too is located convenient to Emerald Isle in Morehead City and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. They are your premier sportfishing charter on the Crystal Coast. Ran by the only IGFA Certified Saltwater Captain in this area, Capt. Jason Temple is ready to take you fishing. Now with IGFA certified scales and measuring devices, we can do anything from a nice day inshore to a trip designed to target and hunt for an IGFA Offshore Slam – nothing is out of reach for the Ali Kat boats.

Capt. Jason will put you on the fish and fill your plates for supper. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging—- whatever it takes to find the bite and land your catch. This involves 4 to 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Dolphin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Marlin, Amberjack, and Seabass, depending on the season and conditions of the day.

You’ll be fishing from a 35’ Bertram boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet, an AC, an ice box,
and a fighting chair.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can. No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter.

You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Capt. Jason runs trips together with his first mate, who’s there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done. 20% is the customary tip for the mate.

Up for a family trip? This is a children-friendly business, so bring your loved ones to share these memories with.

Book your trip now and hit the water with Ali-Kat Too.

Rob and Ben were amazing with our group despite the rough waters from the high winds. We caught 21 Spanish mackerel and 2 king mackerel. The youngest angler, 10y/o caught the biggest fish of the day!! Would recommend 10/10.

FANTASTIC TRIP!

Half Day Trip (PM) – Inshore on August 18, 2023

My family and I booked the Ali-Kat Too, only to find out later Captain Temple grew up in the area I currently fish back home. Captain Temple's communication was 10/10! He called a few days prior to let us know the weather wasn't going to cooperate to go out as far as we'd planned, which we were cool with. The good Captain and his Mate, Ben, kept my family safe despite the heavy seas and winds just outside of the inlet. The boat was great, too. Very comfortable, not cluttered, very clean, and well kept. Captain Temple and Ben put us on the fish! We caught and kept some Spanish Mackeral and also released some other catches (black sea bass, lizard fish, and even a little shark!). It was a great time overall. I will absolutely book with Captain Temple again when I'm back down this way. HIGHLY recommend!

Highly recommend! The boat crew not only set everything up for us but also shared their infectious enthusiasm for fishing. They taught us how to fish and explained what we were catching. As avid anglers, we had never fished the ocean on a charter before, and this experience exceeded our expectations. Planning another trip in the near future.
