Based out of Vero Beach, but we also launch from Sebastian and Ft.Pierce. Bottoms Up 2 is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Capt. Justin aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, and trolling. You're looking at 8-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Dolphin, King Mackerel, Sheepshead, Snapper, Wahoo, and Grouper, depending on the weather and time of year. Deep drop trips include Golden & Blue Line Tile and Yellow Edge Grouper.
Your adventure begins on board a 33' Hydra-Sports boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet, and a wireless trolling motor.
3 2023 Suzuki motors, EPIRB, live well, on board cooler and USCG life Preservers. Also is equipped with a Seakeeper which helps with motion of the boat during higher seas. This into helps with sea sickness.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
Capt. Justin runs trips together with his first mate, who's there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done.

1 awesome trip
Half day Nearshore on March 25, 2026 • 4 adults
Booked a 5 hr near shore trip and capt Justin and mate John didn't disappoint. Probably 30 to 40 fish that were kept and brought back to the dock. On way back in capt Justin saw what he thought was a bait ball but cone yo find out was a school of jack cravelle. We hooked into one and for the next 20 to 30 minutes I fought this 40 to 50 pound jack until I landed it. What a battle and what a personal best for me. Gonna DEFINITELY BOOK with captain Justin and 1st mate John again and doing a deep sea trip next time. Thank so much captain for an awesome time. Can't wait till next time.

Wonderful Fishing Trip with Captain Justin
Half day Nearshore on September 30, 2025 • 3 adults
We had an incredible experience with Bottoms Up fishing in Vero. Captain Justin was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Because of bad weather we moved from nearshore fishing to fishing the intercoastal, but Justin gave us a heads up the day before. He immediately put us on fish and we caught plenty throughout the trip and went home with 5 pounds of fish fillets. Captain Justin was patient, knowledgeable and taught us fishing techniques. Highly recommend for a great experience!!!

Great charter

Justin and his crew were fantastic. This was my teenage son’s first charter trip, and we had a blast. We put 4 kingfish over 30 lbs in the boat, plus a fantastic mahi that literally fed my family of five this evening for dinner. The gear was perfect, the bite was hot, and the crew was knowledgeable. I highly recommend this charter if you’re looking to catch fish and have a good time.
