With Captain Pedro and Jorge, you’ll have the chance to reel in some of the most sought-after fish in the region, including Blue and White Marlin. Sao Miguel is also home to a range of inshore species, such as Bluefish, Barracuda, and more. The Tuna bite is just as good, with Bluefin, Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Albacore arriving up in force every year. Expect to do trolling and bottom fishing during your trip.
The 30’ Rodman boat is outfitted with top-of-the-line fishing gear, including rods, reels, and lures, so you’ll have everything you need to make the catch of a lifetime. There’s also a toilet on board for your convenience. Children are welcome, so bring the whole family along. It’s a good idea to bring a hat, snacks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready to have fun!

Half Day Trip – Coastal (PM)
Beautiful view of Sao Miguel coastline + we caught fish!!!!
Great cruising along the coastline while we were trawling. This private charter gave us yet another beautiful view of Sao Miguel from the water. Perfect for a family activity. Captain Jorge and first mate were adamant that each member of our family have the chance to reel in a catch. They were patient and taught teenagers and grandparents alike how to read the fish finder and reel in our catch - triggerfish, white sea bream and grouper - large enough to keep. Would definitely recommend! Big shout out to Pedro too for all of his flexibility with arranging our charter around flight delays and weather.

Half Day Trip – Big Game (PM)

What an absolutely unforgettable half-day on the water on the Raiado. Our captain, Jorge, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and super passionate about fishing. He put us right on the big-eye tuna, and at one point we had a quadruple hookup with four massive tuna on the lines at once! In total, we had six hookups and successfully brought three fish to the boat, each weighing around 60–70 kg. The action was incredible, with tuna activity visible in the waters all around us. Without a doubt, this was one of the best fishing days of my life.

Full Day Trip – Big Game
Very pleasant trip
Great trip with Jorge and Pedro who tried everything to bring us to the fish. It was a slow day and no bites durung our 8 hour trip. Nevertheless I recommend the trip, as both Jorge and Pedro were very professional and very nice company, also for my sons. Looking forward to another trip with them with hopefully more fishing luck.

Half Day Trip – Coastal (AM)
Amazing day, great guides, great catch
We had a group of 7 and had the best time with Jorge and his crew! The water was calm and while the fish took a bit to start biting, we ended up catching 15 fish of 3 varieties! Jorge did a great job of mixing sight seeing and fishing and we all had a fantastic day, 100% recommend booking with this company.

Tuna caught
Captain John is very experienced. He knows where to find tuna. We booked a 4-hour shipping trip and we caught a 80+ lb tuna. We spent an hour to just pull it up! It's very fun! We'd recommend captain John to everyone.
