Based out of Redington Shores, Captain Gills is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

Capt. Gillean will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in drift fishing and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 2 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, and Snook, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 14’ McKee Craft boat that can safely take up to 3 anglers. This boat features an ice box.

When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Fantastic! Great day in the water!

Wanted to take my son-in-law (visiting from West Virginia) out to experience some inshore saltwater fishing. Captain Gills did a great job finding a bunch of snapper, nice snook and a very nice redfish. It wasn’t the best weather or tide to catch fish, but he found them for us under less than ideal conditions. Definitely recommend Capt Gills and won’t hesitate to book with him again.

Great Last Minute Trip

2 Hour Trip (Noon) on March 3, 2025 • 2 adults

Capt. Gill was friendly and knowledgeable, and I had a great, last minute 2 hour trip before heading for the airport to travel home. We had many bites, brought a bunch of snappers over the rail and caught a lady fish. We had plenty of laughs sharing our stories, and Capt. Gill seems to be an expert in these waters. I can't wait to come back down and book another trip!

Quick trip for a fun time

My fiancee and wanted a quick fishing outing and she was new to fishing. Captain Gill was great to work with and put us on to some mango snappers which was a perfect first catch for her. He was patient and helpful. We would love to go again.
