I booked this experience for my father, husband and brother-in-law. They all loved the trip! Captain Stephen was very attentive to his fishermen. He helped them enjoy their day out on the water.

As Dad said when they got home, they went fishing, they didn’t go catching! Dad did catch one, but it was too small to keep. Husband and BIL both caught but lost them before they could get them reeled in.

Husband and BIL both have been fishing only couple times, many years ago, and not in coastal waters. Captain helped them and made suggestions to them. He was very attentive and was aware if anyone was having any trouble. They all commented that they did not bait a single line-Captain did it for them. Dad commented that he would bait one line as he was watching another one reel in and was there to help with any questions or problems.

Dad also was impressed with the cleanliness of the boat. BIL was captivated by how well Captain Stephen handled and maneuvered the boat. Husband was appreciative of Captain’s patience and guidance with relatively new anglers.

Even though they may not have brought home dinner, they are all looking forward to another outing with Captain Stephen!

We had a great time out on the water with Captain Steve.  My son loves to fish and was so excited for the experience.  Captain Steve was great with both my kiddos (14 and 11), answered all their questions (there were a lot!) and got almost as excited as my son when we caught 3 bull reds and a shark!  His enthusiasm made the trip so much fun for everyone.  My daughter was hesitant about the trip, but Captain Steve really engaged her as well and she was just as excited as my son by the end.  It was an awesome, awesome experience that my kids will never forget.  They said it was definitely a top 5 day!

Captain Stephen took five of us out on a charter on September 3,2023.  We started out first going for local fish game fish like trout, flounder, red drum, to name a few.  He took the time to teach three members of my group how to cast the lure to a certain spot and the technique to make the bobber rattle.  Which was wonderful.  After moving to three different spots and catching only a fish called a croaker. We decided to head out to the harbor for some shark fishing.  Once we got out into the harbor, he explained the routine that we had to follow in order to land a shark.  After being in a spot in the harbor for about a 1/2 hour and had our lines clean off a three to five times.  He decided to move us to another spot. Boy that land to be a great move.  The lines were known more than five to ten minutes in the water and all hell broke loose. We had two hits simultaneously.  My daughter took the first pole to get hit and started too real it in, my daughter is 14 years old and weight about 110 pound.  So captain Steve was by her side in case her need a hand.  Then my son had to grab the pole above his head because that one had a fish on it.  My son handles his line by himself until captain Steve was done with get a 28-inch black tip shark out of the water that my daughter reeled all the way up to the boat. Then captain came over to my son’s line to being bring in the 40-inch bull red fish, which Steve called it a trophy catch.  Captain Steve was so excited to have a catch like this land on his boat because bull red is usually, are not in the harbor until late fall.  So, our fishing charter with captain Steve was a success.  I told captain Steve that next year I am booking two charters with him.

Captain Steve knew exactly where to take us, which bait to use; so that we caught fish pretty much all day. And he is fun, funny and genuinely kind. It is for these reasons that we are repeat customers and we will keep chartering him every time we visit this area.

Captain Stephen is an excellent knowledgeable guide. Windy and cold conditions made fishing difficult, but Captain Steve was persistent and found where the fish were hiding. Highly recommend his services!
