Having logged many hours on these tides and with 20years of experience, Captain Christopher knows them forwards and back. Captain Chris has a fish with your name on it, so let the Spring fishing season begin! Stripers will be chewing the start of April so be sure to book a charter to get in on the action.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Blackfish and who knows what else!
On these trips, it’s common to use light tackle(jigs and top water lures) and trolling only if it is neccesary. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
You’re free to bring home any fish you catch, so long as regulations allow it. Capt. Christopher can even clean your catch for you. Now that’s dinner!
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to reach out to the captain incase you want yo bring your own gear.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time. Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Spring Stripers/Blackfish – Blue Talez sport fishing is a kid-friendly charter service, so bring ‘em aboard and get the kids hooked while they’re young! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea!
A few items you’ll want to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Spring Stripers/Blackfish
