Species like Mahi Mahi, Jacks, Ladyfish, Striped Marlin, Roosterfish, Snappers, Amberjack, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely to troll using light tackle. Capt. Erasmo also offers fly fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

You’ll be casting lines from a 29’ Nava center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
