Proud Pelican Charters,llc
Proud Pelican Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Pensacola Beach. Your guide for the day is Captain Chris, which allows you to benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Wahoo, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Snowy Grouper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Proud Pelican Charters are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip! Proud pelican Charters provide a wide range of fishing from family fun to serious offshore tournaments out to over 100 miles offshore.
You'll be casting lines from Twilight, a 35', safe comfortable, dry and quiet, sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Proud Pelican Charters!
