These waters are known for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, Shark, Sand Bass, Rockfish, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Halibut, and more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Depending on the trip, you might also kite fish.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish and make the most of your trip. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated. You can take home all of the fish you catch within size and bag limits. The Mate can even clean your catch for you. Make sure you have a cooler ready in the car!
Your vessel for the day is a 32’ Grady White Walkaround with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without, and there’s a Full Private Bathroom on board equipped with toilet, sink, and shower for your convenience.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Kids are welcome aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along!

9 Hour Trip – Offshore on July 16, 2024
We had a good day with Aaron - he worked really hard to get us on fish. As we were leaving in the morning, a few of the other people said it was going to be a rough day on the water. Aaron has a bigger and heavier boat than most - we didn’t even notice the waves. In fact, I thought it was pretty smooth. A definite plus. Aaron worked hard all day to get us on fish. We all had a fish on the line, and we were able to get a few in the boat. I would definitely book with Aaron again. He did a great job and was a lot of fun to be around.

Great Off Season Trip
6 Hour Trip – Inshore on February 24, 2025
We were well informed that this is an off season trip and we would be targeting smaller species closer to shore. We were out with three boys (ages 12, 10, 8) and they had consistent action on Whitefish, Rock Fish, and some various different types of bass. Would love to make it out during prime season, but this was a great way to spend a day in February.

Had a great time out on the water. Thank you to Aaron and the No Patience team. It was a beautify day out in San Diego and everyone on the trip caught fish and had a lot of fun. Aaron was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot of tips on how to fish the waters off of La Jolla. Highly recommend No Patience for anyone looking to book a trip in San Diego.

Absolutely unreal service AND fishing. The second the lead hit the bottom until we headed home we were on fish! Aaron and Anna were professional and extremely knowledgeable. We sent half our fish back to the bottom because we were limited out! Awesome day, company, and crew. If you’re looking for a charter PICK THEM!
