These waters are known for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, Shark, Sand Bass, Rockfish, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Halibut, and more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Depending on the trip, you might also kite fish.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish and make the most of your trip. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated. You can take home all of the fish you catch within size and bag limits. The Mate can even clean your catch for you. Make sure you have a cooler ready in the car!
Your vessel for the day is a 31’ Walkaround with room for 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without, and there’s a Full Private Bathroom on board equipped with toilet, sink, and shower for your convenience.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Kids are welcome aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along!
