We booked a 9 hour off shore trip on No Patience with Captain Aaron, Captain Dan was also on the board. Prior to booking the trip we didn’t know which direction we wanted to go and traded multiple messages with Aaron and he was very informative in helping us conclude on the trip to take. We greatly appreciate that.

Coming up to the day of fishing there was great communication on the trip and what to bring and stuff.

On the day of fishing Aaron and Dan were fantastic. They were really nice and informative. You could tell they were both very experienced fisherman and worked hard all day to put us on fish. We had 4 on board and two were kids at age 12 and 14. Aaron and Dan were fantastic at teaching them and helping them throughout the day. They also seemed to take us to the right spots; we were among all the large fishing boats when we were fishing for tuna. We did some good fishing, but the Tuna were not biting on our boat or any of the boats based on radio traffic. With a few hours left Aaron and I made an adjustment to get the kids on some rockfish. We got to Aaron and Dan’s special spot and once the hooks hit the bottom the fish were biting. We scored a bunch of rockfish which made for some amazing tacos later that night. Dan fillet the fish and we didn’t find any bones when we cleaned up at home.

My recommendation, stop looking around and book with No Patience.

One thing to note, not related to No Patience but you may find helpful- this was one of our first times out and all took Dramamine (less drowsy). My son and I were fine but both the girls couldn’t stay awake. I would recommend trying this stuff before the trip so you know how it affects you :)

Had a great trip with Captain Aaron and co-Captain Dan to the islands. We tried for our target species (yellowtail) for a couple hours but unfortunately fishing for them had been slow so we switched over to bottom fish and had a steady pick thru the day on quality reds and lingcod. Captain Aaron worked hard to make sure we were having fun. The boat is extremely comfortable and dry and our lady anglers very much appreciated the clean stand-up head. Will absolutely fish with him again.

We booked a 4 hour trip and had a great time with our 3 children. Arron was great with the kids and put us on the fish.

This experience was everything we were hoping it would be for the day.  Captain was great and super knowledgeable. Got on the fish quick and all day, bites left and right. Next time I come back to San Diego will for sure be using No Patience to go out on the water
