These waters are known for Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Weakfish, and more. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle, and you're welcome to keep any fish you catch, assuming they're legal to keep. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Now that's dinner!
Hop aboard our custom 24' Pontoon that holds up to 6 passengers and has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Kids are welcome, so feel free to make it a family adventure.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), snacks, and drinks.

Black Diamond fishing trip

The trip was fantastic. The captain and mate were excellent and shared many stories of past fishing adventures. We targeted flounder and between myself, my son, and my grandson, we reeled in 18. Of the fish we caught, only 3 were legal in size, with the biggest one about 19 inches. The others we hooked were all between 12 to 15 inches. It was a great trip and I would highly recommend this charter to anyone who wants to catch fish.

Was by far the most memorable charter I’ve been on captain jack was absolutely fantastic many years experience and all around great person let’s you fish not just reel most fish I’ve caught on a charter fishing is no guarantee but we caught 33 total fish and even took a couple home all around great experience and would recommend to anyone the captain definitely knows the inlet thanks again for the great day on the water

Highly recommend fishing with Captain Jack

Our family had a wonderful time with Captain Jack! Being a true local guy, he knew all the spots, had some great stories, and great sense of humor. Ron was fantastic as well and patient with our kids. We caught a bunch of flounder, a blue fish, and a tiny toad fish that we released. Everyone caught something! We look forward to doing it again on our next visit out from CA. Definitely a memorable experience.

Capt Jack was a great Capt and we had an enjoyable time. Fish didnt come out like they should have but the Capt got on some fish to catch. If you want an enjoyable fishing trip give the Black Diamond guys a call you won't regret it.

I have taken a few guided trips from Venice LA with Voodoo . to a few at Murrells inlet with my family . As expected the fishing was slow . Water temps around 87+ . Captn Jack was fantastic and did everything possible so we could catch fish . He was FANTASTIC with our kids 14 and 9 and very personable . Definitely will be using the “murdertoon” for all future trips in Murrells Inlet !!
