Pescado Grande Sportfishing
If you’re ready to experience fishing in Cabo San Lucas, book a trip with Pescado Grande Sportfishing. With Captain Martin at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Top targets include Marlin, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Black Grouper, Sierra Mackerel, Swordfish, and more. You’ll target your catch by trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Martin can also have you kite fishing. You’re welcome to bring home any fish you catch, assuming they meet regulations.
Capt. Martin welcomes children aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Some essentials you’ll want to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you, as well as snacks included on board.
Welcome aboard "Pescado Grande," a 35’ Express cruiser with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials, plus a toilet on board. Capt. Martin will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10%–20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated.
Now and then, the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen with Pescado Grande Sportfishing!

The Reel Deal
Textbook trip with Captain Martin. Met the captain and crew on the dock at 6 AM and after a quick stop for bait and ice we were underway. The Pescado Grande was comfortable and fast. When we sat down the crew had on headsets for communication and captain Martin pulled out the gyroscopic binoculars and headed up to the tower, at that point I knew I was on the right boat and this wasn't just going to be a boat ride. Lines were set at 6:53 AM and at 7:33 AM we had a large wahoo in the boat. At 9:16 AM we had a hand on the leader of my target fish, a beautiful striped Marlin. Captain Martin and crew, Antonio and Tito, were fantastic, excited as I was when hooked up. If you want a professional charter with top-of-the-line crew and gear, this is it.

A great day of fishing
We had a fantastic time on our recent fishing charter! While we didn’t catch a ton of fish, the experience was absolutely worth it—especially the sailfish we managed to land, which was an unforgettable highlight. The crew worked incredibly hard the entire trip. From setting up lines to making sure everyone was comfortable and informed, they were clearly dedicated and experienced. Their energy and enthusiasm really made a difference and kept the vibe positive, even when the bites were slow. The boat itself was very comfortable, which made the downtime between bites relaxing. There was a cozy bed and a couch on board, which was perfect for stretching out, taking a break, or just enjoying the ocean breeze in comfort. Overall, this was a well-run, enjoyable outing. We appreciated the crew’s professionalism and effort, and the sailfish made for a story we’ll be telling for a long time. We also hooked a Blue Marlin but were unable to land it. Highly recommend this charter for anyone looking for a quality fishing experience, regardless of the final haul.

An unforgettable fishing adventure with the best crew
My recent fishing trip aboard the *Pescado Grande* in Cabo San Lucas was nothing short of incredible! From start to finish, the crew’s professionalism, expertise, and infectious enthusiasm made the day unforgettable. The boat itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with top-notch gear, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience out on the water. The crew truly went above and beyond—they were attentive, super friendly, and shared valuable tips that helped us reel in several tuna and mahi-mahi. Their passion for fishing and deep knowledge of the local waters were evident, and they worked tirelessly to make sure we had the best spots. Plus, the freshly prepared food onboard was excellent, adding a delicious touch to the adventure. While everything was outstanding, I’m holding back that fifth star only because I’ve got to save room for future trips (and maybe that marlin next time!). Capt Martiny and Tito are total pros and the boat is wonderfully comfortable and wonderfully capable. My and my teenage son took the 8-hr and not only hauled in a big Spanish material, and some tuna, but capped the day off with our first striped marlin. We flew the flags on the way back on to port and fed the local sea lion. Sea whales, dolphins and turtles. Boat well stocked and great breakfast lunch and beverages. Highly recommend!
