These waters are known for Tarpon, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Snook, Cobia, Black Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Tripletail, Sheepshead, Pompano, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few!
For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Joseph and Kayden also offer fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You’re welcome to keep some of the fish you catch, so long as it’s legal. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Your next meal doesn’t get any fresher than that!
Your excursion begins aboard a 23’ Gause Built center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but be sure to let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Kayden was very knowledgeable about the waters and fish in the Sarasota area. His boat was clean, well equipped, and he made the trip extremely enjoyable. We have been out with many captains all over Florida and Captain Kayden is now one of our favorites! We caught fish and enjoyed the 4 hour trip immensely.

Kayden was timely, professional, and a nice guy! We were catching fish within minutes of leaving the dock, making the most of our time and totaling 12 red drums in a 1/4 day. The boat was clean, the tackle was set up well, and the captain made sure we were where the fish were! 10/10 charter with Charter Sauce!

The boat, equipment, and variety of fish was fantastic! The best part of the trip was how great Captain Kayden was! He made my 12 year old son and myself feel comfortable and welcome!
