Around here the fishing is popular for Black Drum, Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Gag Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Blacktip Shark, Red Snapper, Sheepshead, Redfish, Lane Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Red Grouper, and more, depending on when you go.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You’re free to take home any fish you catch within the legal limit.
You’ll find yourself aboard a 21’ Sea Chaser center console with space for 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Trips with Captain Kota’s Aquatic Excurcursion are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Some essentials you’ll want to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.

Its Fishing!
Captain Kota is a hard-workimg fisheman who takes you where the fish are biting! He also knows when to reachedule cuz of weather and will take you out when safe. Despite the slightly less than ideal conditions on try #2, we went out and made the best of it. Had fun and caught us some fish. Can't ask for more!

Great Time despite the weather not cooperating
Dakota was great - he did his best to manage the rough water conditions by working with us to reschedule and then offering good options when the water was still too rough for us to have a good experience. Fun time in the sun out on the water!

Captain Kota was great. 25ft boat was plenty of room for our crew of 6. 3 adults and 3 kids. Caught some Bonitas then went after a shark. Caught what was probably around 8-9ft hammerhead. Would recommend.
