Game Changer Charters LLC
If fishing in Fort Walton Beach is on your bucket list, look no further than Game Changer Charters.
Amberjack, Bonito, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Gag Grouper, Pompano, Redfish, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, and more can be found in these waters, depending on conditions.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s bowfishing.
You can keep some of the fish you catch, assuming they’re legal to keep. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat. Now that’s dinner!
Your day begins aboard a 22’ Cape Horn center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% gratuity.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
Give yourself something to look forward to, and book a trip with Game Changer Charters
