Fowl Dawgs offers Lake Michigan Fishing Charters for Salmon, and Trout! They strive to provide you with an adventure that you’ll never forget.
Around here the fishing is popular for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Pink Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and more if conditions allow. You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You're free to keep some of the fish you catch, provided they're within size and bag limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Now that's dinner!
Your boat for the day is a 36' Offshore sport fishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with down-riggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and live bait.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the Capt.
Capt. Michael welcomes children aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.
Salmon-A-Rama AND THE KD: Captain Mike enjoys participating in several tournaments annually but especially looks forward to the 9-day Salmon-A-Rama (SAR) and The KD Tourney run simultaneously during the 3rd week of July. For more information, feel free to contact the captain below.
We specialize in fishing for king salmon. We utilize day and night fishing tactics. One if our Lake Michigan exclusives is fishing under the moonight for giant kings. It is an exclusive experience not offered by any other large style charter boat in Lake Michigan

My goal was salmon. Did Captain Michael make all the efforts for that to happen? Yes and then some! I don’t know of another charter that would accommodate, insist on going as far as we did to find them and make it happen. The equipment is top notch and he will make sure when you get back with your stories, you’re the one who caught more.

I have never seen so much gear! A lure for everything. We caught tons of fish and filled our cooler with wild caught salmon. I will be coming back to Capt Mike and if you want to catch fish on lake Michigan I would recommend Capt Mike. Good Luck!
