At Gettin' Reel Sportfishing, we have the gear, knowledge, and experience to accommodate anglers of all skill levels and ages. We take lots of pictures of you with your catches and send them to you after your trip, as well as fillet and bag your fish, free of charge!
Capt. Chris makes sure you feel right at home when you're aboard, and will give you the best opportunity to catch that "fish of a lifetime!" You'll get to use quality rods, reels, and the best bait and lures out there.
Our vessel is a well equipped 22' Sea Chaser that is very stable and safe with a 150hp Honda 4-Stroke outboard that is ultra quiet, a Minn Kota Terrova i-Pilot trolling motor, an 8 foot Power-Pole anchor system, the most up-to-date Garmin Hi-Def electronics, a large livewell for bait, a large fish bag to keep your catch ice cold, front and back casting decks, as well as a large T-Top for some shade on those hot Florida days.

Half Day Fishing – AM (4 MAX)
Finfilled day on the water!
My wife and I started the mornign by meeting up with Chris at the boat dock, super easy to find and then off we went! We did the 4hr morning trip and had plenty of time to fish several different spots with different bait setups as well as tsrfrting different speces of fish. Conditions wete great but the fish were a little slow to hit our rigs. That didnt stop Chris from trying different spots, different lure setups, and even checking in with others on the water to see if we could find the sweet spot! We had a blast and would for sure book with him again!

Half Day Fishing – AM (4 MAX)
Great experience on a tough day
We had a great experience with Capt Chris! We had to fight bad weather and it was not ideal fishing conditions (not the Captains fault). He stayed persistent, tried multiple approaches/locations, and didn’t turn back when other boats gave up. He kept us safe, helped us when needed, and was great with my 10 year old. Ended up catching some pretty good fish on a less than ideal weather day. Would definitely use him again and recommend to others.

Half Day Fishing – AM (4 MAX)
Right on the fish!
Took my dad and father in law on this half day trip and the only thing I’d change is making it a full day trip. We caught slot reds at our very first stop! 30 plus fish in the boat for a half day trip! Captain Chris was very attentive and a great man to be around. Very relatable to us as well. Great fishing and great conversation made this trip well worth it! I’ll be booking with him again!

no fish due to red tide but great fishing experience
We went out in the morning only to see that red tide was affecting our results. we tried several locations and had lots of bait stealers and 4 just too small ones. Captain Chris was great and tried very hard to get us catches. He was patient and helped with casting. We will definitelytry him again.

Captain Chris is the best!
The weather was challenging, but Chris took great care of me and my kids. He has a very laid back vibe, genuinely seemed interested in getting to know us, and knowledgeable about the fishing in the bay. We didn't wear them out, but we had fun catching a few sharks and some cats. I'll definitely book with him, again, the next time I visit the Cape.
