There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate, who's there to help you fish and keep everyone safe on board. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10%–20% gratuity.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
