At The Waters Edge- Matagorda 

Make that daydream about fishing in Matagorda a reality, At The Waters Edge!!

Here you won't be far from inshore waters, including a few honey holes that only the locals can clue you in on.

We specializes in heavy tackle fishing, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. We will provide rods and reels and bait.
Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Tiger Shark, Lemon Shark, Pompano, Redfish, Black Drum, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.

All Sharks are catch-and-release, but all other fish within size and bag limits are yours to take home. We even offer to clean your catch for you so it's easy to cook. Now that's a fresh meal!

Ty can take groups as large as 5 on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.

Expect to get in touch with Ty before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there. Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply.

You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, and sunglasses, no matter the weather.
