Taking a trip with Texas Deep Sea Fishing is your best choice if you’re interested in deep-sea fishing. Our captains have over 50 years of combined deep-sea fishing experience in Freeport/Galveston waters. They have thousands of days on the Gulf of Mexico in pursuit of Red Snapper, Wahoo, Cobia, Mahi-Mahi, Grouper, Amberjack, Tuna, Shark, King Mackerel, and many others. Full limits, full fish boxes, and fond memories are our specialty!
Over the years, Captains Derwyn and Marshall Booker have had the pleasure of running dozens of offshore fishing boats; always looking for the one that provides the safest, fastest, most comfortable ride. One of the best in their opinion is their 33’ Contender. With 600 horsepower on the stern, it boasts a top speed of 60 mph and a cruising speed of over 30 mph. It will get you to and from the fishing grounds quickly and comfortably, maximizing your fishing time. Some of its other features include a spacious bow and cockpit for fishing, plenty of comfortable seating for cruising, an enclosed restroom with an electric flush toilet, and awesome electronics including sonar, radar, and Bluetooth sound system.
The crew’s primary goal is always to provide you with a safe, pleasurable, and productive day on the water. Season after season, they’ve made this goal a reality. Your captain will assist with equipment, techniques, and photos while at sea as well as processing your catch at the end of the trip.
Texas Deep Sea Fishing operates from a covered dock in a private marina which features secure, paved parking, bathhouses with showers, and an onsite restaurant/bar that can prepare an awesome meal including cooking your fresh catch.
Your Texas Deep Sea Fishing Charter is a special day. From the time you make your reservation until you bid farewell and drive away with a cooler full of fillets, your captain will be in touch to keep you informed and answer questions.

Best captain and experience
Took and 8 hr tour. The experience and adventure was great. Captain was amazing and nothing but polite and helpful. My kids asked all the questions and he was so great and patient with them. An amazing adventure I am sure to do over and over again. The water was pretty rough due to storms rolling through the night before but Captain was so considerate in making us as comfortable as possible. Also the fish were slow to start biting but once they started the fish pretty much jumped in the boat. As soon as we got home we started looking at dates for our next trip.

Half Day Trip (AM)
Great trip, despite the weather!
Unfortunately our trip with Captain Marshall had to be cut short due to wind and waves, however we still had a great time and my son got his first redfish, which was the goal of the trip. Marshall is a great captain, and very good with kids - definitely recommended. We will be back in better weather for a redo!

Great experience with great results
Captain Marshall and Ethan were great. Organized with a plan to get the most out of the day but without anything being rushed. The boat is very accommodating with a lot of space for all 5 on board (could definitely hold another ~3 or so). The length of the boat smoothes out the chop of the water, and the on board toilet adds needed comfort. These guys know how to get on the fish, are easy going and have a great setup - highly recommend!
