If you're ready to get hooked on fishing on the chesapeake bay, book a trip with Fools Gold Charters. Take your group of up to 35 people for a great day on the bay!
Striped Bass, White Perch, Catfish, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, Redfish, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year.
On these trips, you can expect to be using light tackle live bait, or trolling.
Feel free to bring home any fish you catch, assuming they're legal to keep. Mate Lexi can even clean your catch for you. Bring a cooler ready in the car!
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks – luckily, Capt. Brady will have some on board!
Your trip begins aboard a 46' Commercial that can carry up to 35 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Brady will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate, who's there to help you fish and keep everyone safe on board. A 20%-30% tip at the end of the day is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but be sure to let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. There will be some light snacks available on board.

We had an amazing Father’s Day fishing trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The captain and crew were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. They made everyone in our group feel comfortable and at home the entire day. The boat was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the trip. They went above and beyond by keeping the boat stocked with a great selection of beer, drinks, and snacks for both the adults and kids, which was a really nice touch. Most importantly, they made the day fun and memorable for the whole family. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a great day on the water, I highly recommend booking with them. It was the perfect Father’s Day outing, and we’ll definitely be back!
We had an amazing with Captain Brady and 1st mate Andy , the were very knowledgeable and skilled. We caught our limit of Rockfish , everyone (11) enjoyed the experience .We look forward to booking with Fools Gold in the near Future!!!

I’ve been on a couple charters and this was by far the best experience. Have been on previous charters and never touched a rod. Had 15 guys and we caught our limit. Everyone had a great time.
