Yellowfin tuna, wahoo, bonito, blue marlin, mahi mahi, aiguillette, Pacific barracuda, snapper, blue trevally and many other species can take the bait, depending on conditions. For these species, you’re likely to be trolling and bottom fishing using light or heavy tackle. Please note that the captain makes every effort to preserve the island’s resources, so coral fish will be returned to the water.
Families spending the day on board will be delighted to learn that children (aged 8 and over) are welcome on board! We recommend that you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (without spray) and snacks. Drinks are also available.
Your fishing boat for the day is a 22-foot center console with room for 3 passengers. Rods, reels and tackle await you, along with lures. Local fishing licenses are not required for all members of your party. Some species may be protected or require a tag to keep, so make sure you know what to expect.

Great time fishing with Captain Franck
5H PRIVATE OUTDOOR REEF ROD GAME on February 23, 2025
I had a 4 hour trip with Capt. Franck. He was ready to go with live bait and we had the rods in the water in a short amount of time. We fished the reef and had many bites. I was able to get a few to the boat and lost a few after some nice fights. They had some sharp teeth and were cutting wire leaders. Franck keep lines in the water trolling and drifting the whole time fishing. He is a experienced Captain and knows his area. I would fish with him any time. His English is good so everything went smooth from booking to letting me know what type of fishing we would be able to do. Can't wait to get back there someday......beautiful water...thanks Franck

We had such a memorable experience on Captain Franck's boat!! It was one of the best fishing trips ever. He is so knowledgeable and his live for fishing shows. My husband and i are so extremely grateful to have had a chance to fish with him. We caught a king mahi mahi, approximately 61 inches. He was beautiful. Our 6 hour charter fishing trip with Captain Franck in Moorea was an absolute highlight of our honeymoon! From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel welcome with his kind and friendly demeanor. He was incredibly prepared and offered multiple fishing techniques to ensure we had the best chance of landing a great catch. Not only did we catch a large tuna, but Captain Franck also taught us how to hunt for fish in the ocean, making the experience both exciting and educational. His expertise and passion for fishing were evident, and he went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. After our successful catch, he expertly cleaned and filleted the fish for us, allowing us to take home an incredible lunch and dinner. I want to start by saying guides, crew, and captains are what make trips great. Lighthearted and fun time, we would’ve had a great day just hanging out on the boat. Very easy to have fun when you’re with fun people! We were very hopeful that we would connect with a marlin on our trip but realize that’s not ever a guarantee. As fate would have it Franck put us on a nice blue marlin! It was my first pelagic ocean fish and I felt my inexperience show in some areas but Franck did everything humanly possible to make sure the fish stayed on and after an hour we got it in the boat! Great time, great guide, if you’re looking for a charter this is the one!

Unfortunately, we didn’t catch a fish but captain Franck is very skilled and has good material. We had a good time on a sunny day, the ocean was very calm and my wife took her sun bath. The captain has great rods, lures and he provided water and everything. He was entertaining, he enjoys sharing his experience which we did appreciate. I feel I was just unlucky and I would go with him again without any doubt
