There’s a fish with your name on it in Murrells Inlet, and Fish Finder Fishing Charters will help you catch it!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Redfish, Black Seabass, Spotted Seatrout, Spadefish, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Cobia, and whatever else is biting. You can expect to do some trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. You’re free to keep any legal fish you catch, and the captain will even clean it for you to eat later!
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Don’t forget to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip!
You’ll be casting lines from a 26’ Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water, plus a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Book an adventure aboard the Fish Finder II and start planning your fishing trip today!

6 Hour Trip (AM.)
Our trip was shortened due to high waves caused by Hurricane Erin. We are all Striper, Bass and Trout fishermen where you get a bite and jerk. Captain Dave showed us the different technique used for catching Flounder. We missed some bites but had loads of fun catching others. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the inlet and learning to catch Flounder. We shall return and book another trip with Captain Dave again.

3 Hour Trip (AM)
Took three teenage sons. First experience miles off coast (5 and 3 to be exact). Surprised to only troll two rods, but that bite (bonita and Spanish mackerel) was slow (landed one of each). Quickly transitioned to jigging cut bait over reef structure for sea trout. Good action, nice quality (14-21") with some small blues and misc other species mixed in. Finished back in the inlet with minnows trying for a flounder. No luck there, but appreciate the effort on such a short excursion (scheduled for 3 hours but he gave us more like 4). Enough to take home for a nice meal and a beautiful morning on the water with a competent captain.

We had a great time and our captain David was phenomenal. I had never fished before and he took the time to teach me how to cast and I did great from there on my own. We caught at least 20 fish between the 4 of us and were able to catch a couple different species of fish. We had such a great time that we are looking forward to booking another trip the next time we are at the beach. I would definitely recommend this captain and booking this trip!

4 Hr Half Day Trip (AM.)
There were six of us onboard. We all caught something, even though our catches were undersized and had to be released. We caught black bass mainly. Our trip was shortened due to the sea sickness of three of my family members. Captain Dave graciously brought them back to shore. We finished our time with some inlet fishing, where my granddaughter proudly reeled in a baby shark and a Bat Ray. It was a wonderful adventure.

3 Hour Trip (AM.)
Had a great experience fishing with Captain Dave. He was pleasant, explained everything we needed to know and worked hard to get us on some fish. Since we were fishing the day after Tropical Storm Chantal, finding fish was difficult for everyone out that day. Captain Dave went above and beyond in trying to get us on some fish. Would definitely recommend him as your charter captain.
