Finnesse Fishing Charters is all about fishing the stunning waters of North Myrtle Beach. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jimmy can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Flounder, Black Drum, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Blacktip Shark, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On the day of your trip, you're likely to use light tackle.
Any fish you catch are yours to keep, so long as they're within the legal limit. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Talk about bang for your buck!
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 20' Carolina Skiff that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask.

We were looking forward to this trip for awhile but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. We trolled half the morning trying to find bait fish and couldn’t. We finally started fishing and literally fished one hour and 15 minutes in three terrible spots and have nothing to show for it. We came in what I considered too early because another trip was booked. Very bad experience for the money.

Hey Tony, Unfortunate to hear, but our captains do the best they can. We are here to give you the most enjoyable time possible on the water. The new extended wake zones definitely cut into the fishing time which is out of our control. Also keep in mind it rained a lot the night before which affected the bait as well. Again sorry to hear about your trip & thank you for the review.
