If you're ready to discover fishing in Panama City, book a trip with Reel Addiction 2 charters. With Captain James at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Amberjack, Red Snapper, Hamour Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bull Shark, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. James can also take you Flounder gigging.
Capt. James is happy to have kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be welcome aboard a 25' Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We caught over 50 fosh as a group — got to keep a lot too! was a great morning out on the water. Captain was great with the seven year old we had woth us and helped him catch his first saltwater fish.

Fish the whole trip
OFF-SEASON SPECIAL 4HR AM!!!!!!! on February 28, 2026 • 4 adults
We had a great trip with Captain James and his first mate Jason. They got us on fish five mnutes from the dock in the bay. All four of us caught fish pretty continuously for the first 25 minutes, and we ventured out to the Gulf where we continued to catch more fish at each stop. We caught Sand Perch, Red Snapper, TriggerFish, and Grouper. Captain James and first mate Jason were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to all of us on the boat. They made our trip a great memorable experience.

Our June offshore fishing trip was an absolute blast! The crew was top-notch, guiding us to prime spots where we reeled in a fantastic variety of fish— red, mangrove, and vermillion snapper, 3 species of grouper, and several big triggerfish! The boat was clean, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a successful day on the water. Captain Walker and First Mate Bill worked their tails off to keep catching fish the whole trip. Captain Walker knew exactly where to find the action, while Bill kept us rigged up so we always had our lines in the water. The weather was perfect, with calm seas and sunny skies, making for an unforgettable day on the water. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, this trip delivers excitement and memories that’ll last a lifetime. Don’t know how anyone could rate anything less than 5 stars. Highly recommend booking with these pros!

First time out! Five of us, including 11 year old son and 75 year old mother in law. We were on fish as soon as we stopped. Water was choppy, but James and Jason are exterpts. Overall a terrific experience! Great for all ages and experience!Booking is simple and James is flexible.

Excellent Experience

Overall it was a great trip out to open waters. one of our party ended up getting sea-sick and Captain James was very understanding. Rather than canceling he recommended we finished the day off in the bay fishing for spanish.
Money well spent, everyone ended up having a great time.
