Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Red Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Blackfin Tuna, Tilefish, and whatever else takes the bait. You may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
Geaux Fisch Charters operates a 36’ Contender, one of the smoothest boats on the water. The Geaux Fisch was completely updated in 2023. Upgrades include a brand new triple 300 Yamaha outboard motors, a walk-in bathroom, extra-large fuel tanks for long-range trips, and an impressive electronics system that features top-of-the-line fish-finding and navigation equipment. The boat also has top-of-the-line safety gear required for an offshore charter boat. The features of this boat guarantee everyone aboard will have not only a safe trip but an unforgettable experience out on the water.
Capt. Paul will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. You’ll need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

Paul and Jenna are great guides. We wouldn't go anywhere else but with them. They are great for a novice (myself) and with kids. I've used them 3-4 times and come back with a lot of fish every time.
