"Moana" was built by Outer Banks legend, Buddy Cannady. She is a well-appointed, 55 foot custom built sport fishing yacht boasting such amenities as a TV, CD player, refrigerator, and microwave. The salon is roomy and comfortable with clean restrooms, heated, and air-conditioned. But, let’s talk about the fishing! Captain Brad (aka- Bluefin Brad) is ready to put meat in the box or add another billfish flag to your collection. The "Moana" is stocked with the finest tackle allowing you options of light 20 lb stand up gear or 130 lb class rod & reel, and ample deck space to allow a stand up fight or seated in 1 of 3 fighting chairs. The "Moana" is equipped with the latest in navigational technology and fish finder electronics. For the safety of our passengers, we also have an E-PIRB device and commercial life raft. When you pair the technology with the experience and knowledge of Captain Brad and first mate Nick, you’ve got a winning combination for your trip out on the "Moana"!

We welcome children and first timers ans we will walk you thru the whole process.  We understand that it can be a little intimidating going offshore for the first time,  but rest assured you’re in good hands on the “Moana.”  We will make the day most enjoyable for the entire party.
