Spend the day with Reel Teal Charters and find out what fishing in Carolina Beach is all about!

Depending on the season, you might hook into Flounder, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and whatever else takes the bait. You'll target your catch by spinning or trolling rods, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

We will bring you aboard a 22' Bulls Bay center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as Live baits. (Live bait available most of the time)

There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing!

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed. Please bring a cooler for your drinks and to carry any fish caught home with you.

Great first experience for my son

I wanted to plan a special fishing trip for my son, and I’m so glad we chose Real Teal Charters. This was his very first time out on the water, and it turned into an unforgettable experience for both of us. Captain Tony was incredible—patient, knowledgeable, and great with kids. He took the time to teach my son how to cast, and made sure he felt comfortable and involved throughout the trip. You could really tell he loves what he does and enjoys sharing that with others. My son hasn’t stopped talking about how much fun he had. It was more than just a fishing trip—it was quality time, a bonding experience, and the start of a new hobby for him. Kids had a blast

Took my 2 young girls on their first inshore fishing trip with Capt Tony and Reel Teel Charters. I picked him over other charters because he had a trip tailored more towards the kids. He didnt disappoint. My 7 year old started the trip timid, not even wanting to reel in a fish. Few minutes with Capt Tony and she was casting on her own, catching fish, and working the bait station getting bait for the rest of us when we needed it. We will definitely hit up Reel Teel Charters in any future visits to the area.

A+ Day with Captain Tony 🎣

Had an awesome time out with Captain Tony yesterday - dude really knows his stuff! He's got that perfect mix of being super professional while keeping things fun and laid-back. Instead of just putting us on fish, he actually took time to teach us some new tricks that made a huge difference. We crushed it on the catch front, but honestly, it was Tony's knowledge and easy-going personality that made the trip special. He's definitely not one of those guides who just goes through the motions - you can tell he loves what he does. If you're looking for a solid fishing trip with a captain who knows his waters and treats you like a friend, Tony's your guy. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

Best Charter Experience — Even for Someone Who Doesn’t Love Fishing

Captain Tony made the trip unforgettable! I don’t usually enjoy fishing, but I loved every minute thanks to his knowledge, patience, and easygoing style. We caught fish right away, and our 13-year-old reeled in sheepshead, black drum, and even a flounder on his own. Captain Tony kept it fun, engaging, and stress-free—we’d book with him again in a heartbeat!

Fishing Fun!

My husband and I went for our anniversary. We took the morning tour, which was a little cooler than we thought it would be, but it’s April. My husband was able to do something he always wanted to do and go fishing in the ocean. I on the other hand wasn’t able to enjoy the open sea due to motion sickness. Tony was very accommodating and took us back inshore and we were able to finish our trip fishing in the water way. Tony was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We would 100% recommend him.
