Depending on the season, you might hook into Cobia , Black Seabass, Flounder, Amberjack, Spadefish, Speckled Trout, Great Barracuda, and whatever else is biting. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Desperado Fishing Charters are great for kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that's dinner!
Your adventure begins aboard a 24' Key West Center console with room for 6 passengers. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Its customary to tip the captian 20% to show your appreciation. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray).

Weather Cancellation Policy
Trips run in most weather conditions.
The captain will only cancel trips in the event of unsafe conditions such as small craft advisories, severe storms, lightning risk, or mechanical issues.
Light rain, cloud cover, temperature changes, or choppy water are not considered unsafe conditions.
If the captain cancels, the customer may reschedule or receive a full refund of the deposit.
Deposits are refundable only with 7+ days notice.
Cancellations inside 7 days forfeit the deposit because the reserved date cannot typically be rebooked.

Captain quickly took us to a different spot and we caught plenty of flounder, not much time seem to be wasted with the captain and deckhand, they kept the lines wet and fished till the very last min they could before we headed back in.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
