Striped Bass, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Tarpon, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Black Seabass, Speckled Trout, Kingfish, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 25’ Bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle!
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Fun trip with Steven
6 Hour Trip on June 21, 2024
Four of us took a trip with Steven and my dad was just going to hang out on the boat. Steven didn’t know this and handed dad a rod and showed him the ropes the entire time. He hasn’t fished since he was a kid and didn’t have much interest fishing on the boat either. He ended up having a blast thanks to Steven! The three others of us had a great time as well. Steven knew when it was time to move on from one spot to the next. He also had to navigate around some rain clouds and knew what spots would give us a bit more cover. We caught fish all day and had two keeper reds and a keeper trout. Would have had a few keeper flounder, but the NC flounder ban killed us. Overall, we had a great day on the water with Captain Steven!

Captain Steven was incredible, the weather was rough in the am so he worked with us to delay our departure until it improved. We caught all kinds of fish and it was a gorgeous and relaxing day. Steven was great to hang out with and was super accommodating. I can’t express enough how much fun we had and how easy the whole experience was. We will certainly book again with Capt Steven!
