Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, (Mahi Mahi), Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Wahoo, and whatever else is biting. During the trip, you might be trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea – luckily, Capt. Giovanni will have some on board!
Your trip begins aboard a 55’ Motor yacht that can carry up to 10 passengers. It has a fighting chair and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcoholic beverages are quoted separately.

Full Day Trip
Full-service, above and beyond!
Captain Giovanni, first and foremost, was one of the best captains I have ever had. His experience is extensive, and he even held a Curacao record at one point according to the hotel I was staying at. And even though he has all that experienced, he respected the fact that I have extensive knowledge (not necessarily of Curacao but of angling in general) and discussed location and plans with me. We did catch a Mahi that day, and we were going to keep trolling for Wahoo, but Captain Giovanni, as mentioned, acquiesced to my request to target bull shark and the Mahi (the only catch of that day, as we switched targets about 2 hours in) I converted to chum to see if we could find a shark. Even though we didn't succeed on finding a shark, as we were traveling around the island, Captain Giovanni told us many stories of history of all the old Dutch forts that are dotted around the island from times of invasion and piracy in the Caribbean. This experience made the trip worth even more than what I paid (which was very reasonable for a 50+ ft boat). Even my wife (who is not an angler and gets very seasick without dramamine) enjoyed the experience because it was so much more than just a fishing charter. Lastly, the water was beautiful. I recommend Giovanni and Paranda Boat Trips to anyone from the beginner all the way to the most advanced anglers. Hire with confidence! Fish on!

Don’t choose this fishing trip!
Advertised at $949. Arrived and was charged an extra $150 USA for licenses. Captain said it’s on the website, not! Captain arrived late, shortening our trip. Sat on coolers that slid back and forth. Unsafe! No fighting chair. No bait used on lures. Only 3 lines. Captain and first hand sat upstairs with a beer and water and did not interact with the 6 of us. Extra hand was the kindest, this fishing experience is a rip off! Stay away!
