Fin Alley
Hampton Bays has a fish with your name on it, so let Fin Alley help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Don can tell you all about them.
Top targets include Striped Bass, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), White Marlin, Swordfish, Bluefin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Thresher Shark, Blue Marlin, Mako Shark, and more with any luck. For these species, you're likely to troll.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be dropping lines from a 43' Tiara offshore sport fishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our experience with Fin Ally was outstanding. We arrived at the dock at 6:00 a.m. Captain Don and Jimmy welcomed us warmly and had the fishing gear and boat prepared for our fishing outing. After Captain Don provided a comprehensive safety briefing, which included the location of the automatic inflatable life raft and the placement of life jackets and flotation devices, we were swiftly on our way. Upon reaching the fishing location approximately 28 miles offshore, Don and Jimmy wasted no time getting lines out. They deployed five lines and began trolling for Tuna. As the day progressed, weeds from changing currents caused trolling lines to get tangled. Captain Don adeptly adjusted his tactics. In a seamless transition, he directed the focus towards live bait and jigging, a tactical adjustment that would soon prove fruitful when Jimmy hooked a yellowtail after working a 20-30 minutes to jigging. I wholeheartedly endorse Fin Ally for any angler seeking an exceptional fishing experience. Captain Don's oversight of the boat and his continuous scan of the surroundings and equipment for fish marked his commitment to our success. Jimmy's tireless work ethic was evident as he diligently managed the 5 lines during trolling and and 2 - 3 live bait and jigging sessions. This crew's dedication and expertise make Fin Ally an excellent choice for a memorable fishing trip.

Captain Don Archer and his first mate John did a great job. We got a fish on about half an hour after we started and fought it for two and a half hours. They knew what to do and were friendly and funny throughout. Excellent trip.
Fin Ally is a great boat. Very clean, perfectly equipped, and comfortable. Capitan Don is a great professional, a gentleman, extremely pleasant and accommodating. His mate John is incredibly hard working. We could have not had a better day and I can only highly recommend.
