These waters are known for Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Snowy Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, Snook, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Feel free to take home some of the fish you catch, so long as it’s legal. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Make sure you have a cooler ready in the car!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 28’ Apex inflatable outboard that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. The Ocean Family staff will be there to make your trip more enjoyable.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are welcome! It’s always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board. Some species are protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
