Operating out of Hillsboro Inlet in Pompano Beach, we specialize in unforgettable days on the water, from offshore fishing and reef trips to spearfishing, diving, sandbar cruises, and fully customized charters. Whether you're chasing your first fish, hunting for a bucket-list catch, or simply looking to enjoy a day with family and friends, every trip is tailored to your goals and the day's conditions.

I'm Captain Clovis, a U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain with a lifelong passion for fishing and the ocean. Deep Blue Charters was built on one simple philosophy: I don't just want to put you on fish; I want you to leave as a better angler. I enjoy teaching the techniques, strategies, and decision-making that go into consistently finding and catching fish, making every trip enjoyable for guests of all experience levels.

You'll be fishing aboard our 28' Contender Tournament, completely refitted in 2018 and built to comfortably accommodate up to six guests. We'll target a wide variety of South Florida species, including Mahi, Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Swordfish, and more, using techniques such as trolling, live baiting, bottom fishing, and deep dropping.

At Deep Blue Charters, we believe every trip should feel personal, not rushed or routine. We fish hard, adapt to the conditions, and work as a team to give you the best experience possible.

If your trip includes a mate, they'll be there to rig tackle, bait hooks, assist with fish, clean your catch, and keep everything running smoothly. Gratuities are never required but are always appreciated, with 15–20% being customary for exceptional service.
