Native provides all necessary snorkeling equipment and bags to collect them in. There will be water, ice, and storage available as well. You'll get assistance from the crew collecting your bounty and pictures of your experience.
The Florida Bay Scallop lives in seagrass beds in waters anywhere from 4-10 feet of depth. Scallops may be easily found on or near the bottom of the seagrass beds and outlying sandy patches in the flats.
Scalloping can be compared to an easter egg hunt! Sometimes Scallops can even swim away when they see you, but they don't swim too fast. You will snorkel along with help from a guide, you keep your found Scallops collected in a mesh bag. Enjoy the fun and make a memory you'll be sure never to forget!
The fully outfitted boat is a spacious vessel with comfortable seating, covered to protect you from the sun. This boat also has an offshore radio, all necessary safety equipment, a color GPS/fish finder, as well as large coolers, and tons of storage. This boat is very powerful with 300 hp twin engines and provides a very stable ride with its cat design.

Captain Bobby and his first mate Alyssa were amazing! They took us scalloping and made the trip so fun! I felt like they both were super knowledgeable and they genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great time. We will absolutely be booking with them in the future! They had all the gear needed, plenty of ice and water provided.. just all around extremely enjoyable.

Capt. Horn and his crew were extremely accommodating, full of interesting tid bits of local lore and information about the beautiful Crystal River area, and the boat was perfect for out party. the assisted us with instructions in how to best dive for scallops and cleaned our catch! could not have been better! I will book him again for sure!

Had a great trip with Bobby and Alyssa. Fished half a day and Scalloped the other half. Bobby and Alyssa are one of the nicest couples you will ever meet. They work hard to make you feel at home on their well equipped boat. The weather was a little rough but that didn’t stop the 2 of them from trying to put us on fish. They went above and beyond running to different spots to put us on fish. The fish were not biting as much as we hoped it was not for lack of trying. We put a dozen mangroves in the box before heading back to Scallop. They put us on the Scallops…We managed to harvest our 4 gallons fairly quickly. I was a first timer and the two of them showed me what yo look for and I had a ball. Overall and excellent day with a great captain and 1st mate. Can’t wait to fish with them again.
In less than perfect weather conditions Bobby and Alyssa went above and beyond to get us a variety of fish and most importantly kept us comfortable and having fun! We were a group of 6 women with varying levels of skill and interest and they were accommodating in every situation. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back out on the water :)
Excellent scallop trip with best crew possible. Not only did they get us to and from a good location in a short time but also made special personal efforts to make sure that we got a good catch of scallops. Great experience and fun day with a super boat crew. We would recommend for anyone that wants to go scalloping

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
