Ready to cast a line in Miami Beach? Island Time Charters is here to make it happen! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jesus knows them forwards and back.

Depending on the conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Hogfish, African Pompano Jack, Kingfish, and plenty more. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.

You’ll step aboard a 31’ Center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It’s recommended to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks and ice will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

Five Stars for Captain Jesus! Unforgettable 6-Hour Charter

We just finished the most incredible 6-hour fishing charter with Captain Jesus, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a successful and fun day on the water, look no further! Captain Jesus is not only a seasoned pro but also genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. He made sure everyone on board felt comfortable, whether they were experienced anglers or first-timers. He was patient in explaining techniques and always ready to lend a hand with bait, lines, and netting. Most importantly, Captain Jesus knows the water! He absolutely put us on the fish. We spent the full six hours constantly reeling in the action, thanks to his knowledge of the best local spots. It was exactly what we hoped for in a charter—non-stop fun and a great haul to show for it.

Highly Recommend Island Time!

Half Day Trip on July 5, 2025 • 2 adults

We went out with Jesus and his first mate who were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable! The boat is very clean and spacious. There’s even a small head below. Jesus put us on some fish in an area and we initially didn’t have too much luck with bites but then we moved and we both immediately felt bites. We ended up catching a couple yellowtail snappers, bonitas, and a shark (he lived to tell the tale another day after breaking the line as Jesus was bringing him to the surface.) Overall, would definitely recommend Island Time for any charters. Anyone who picks them can rest assured that they’re in good hands and will enjoy their trip while hopefully getting some good bites!

Half Day Trip on August 1, 2025 • 1 adult

HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- Alex and Miguel took me out for two awesome days of spearfishing. The first day I insisted on practicing my spearfishing, reeling in a sizeable red grouper and mutton snapper located in a very cool spot he knew. The second day I had a barracuda tear my line and we decided to spend the day 'above water'. Boy let me tell you, what a session. We reeled in tuna, barracuda, yellowtails and snappers. Super successful day, incredible learning, great music and even better fish.

we caught over 50 fish!!!! jesus is the best fishing guide ever. he took us exactly to where the fish were biting, and made the trip unforgettable. Great for all fishing abilities. massive sharks, beautfil views, and endless fish. he even fileted them all for us to take home and cook. 10/10

Great Captain- Smart, Courteous and wothwhile!

Jesus is a true wealth of knowledge and accommodates your requests when a Dad wants to take his kids to fish and place meat in the box. The captain and his team were on point at all times and constantly helping my kids out when fish were hooked, or they snapped the line. Boat was well stocked with baits (live or frozen), tackle for all types of fishing and constantly exploring new tricks to keep the action going.
