You can expect to do some spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. We also catch large mouth, fresh water drum, catfish and the occasional crappie by accident while slabbing for these whites and hybrids. We have 2 boats, we can take out a large group.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. Guy will bring you aboard a 22 foot center console that can carry up to 5 guests. The other boat is a 19 foot center console captained by his wife, Jackie. All poles and equipment are provided.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, PLEASE USE THE ONBOARD ICE CHEST. It's large and will hold all of your drinks/snacks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with The Fishing Guy and his wife, Jackie! They went above and beyond to make my son’s 12th birthday truly special and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, patient, and accommodating, especially with making sure my son felt comfortable and excited the entire trip. The highlight of the day was watching my son reel in several firsts, including his very first crappie, white drum, and white bass! Their knowledge, guidance, and willingness to teach made all the difference, and you could tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. Captain was super funny we had a great time and caught countless fish honestly you cant ask more in a trip then what we got we will definitely be on his boat again his wife also came out at the end and helped up clean fish she will give anyone a run for there money this man should be booked out daily zero complaints if your looking to laugh catch fish and have a great trip i highly recommend

Mr Guy Coleman was a great Captain! This experience was great for me and three kids. Mr Guy was not only knowledgeable of all things fishing he was wonderful with my kids as they enjoyed the whole trip with him. We land some fish during our trip which made the trip more memorable as it was our first time fishing as a family and on a boat. I would recommend him to all my friends and especially family as Mr Guy Coleman is funny and enjoyable the whole time. Thank you again and will be returning for another trip.
Really nice fishing trip to Lake Belton. Caught a lot of fish. Over 35 white bass we took home and over 50 in the boat (including Drum and Catfish). We will be back for Hybrid! CPT Guy and Jackei were great and worked hard to get us on fish. Nice and clean boat! Boys had fun and want to go again soon
