White Bass and more inhabit these waters, depending on when you go.
You can expect to do some spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. Guy will bring you aboard a 19’ Avid center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with The Fishing Guy!

What a great experience with the fishing Guy
Mr Guy Coleman was a great Captain! This experience was great for me and three kids. Mr Guy was not only knowledgeable of all things fishing he was wonderful with my kids as they enjoyed the whole trip with him. We land some fish during our trip which made the trip more memorable as it was our first time fishing as a family and on a boat. I would recommend him to all my friends and especially family as Mr Guy Coleman is funny and enjoyable the whole time. Thank you again and will be returning for another trip.

Its fishing and fish were caught. Very happy with the Captain and boat. And any day on the water is a good day. And even at the end the captain cleaned the fish up for us to take home. Great guy and guide. Thank you.

4 Hour Trip – White Bass Experience

requested Guy one day in advance and he obliged. we had to work around weather , and again he obliged. we booked for 7am and got on water at noon after weather passed. it was cold (low 50s) and windy. my daughter and i caught fish in very tough conditions and had a great time. there wasnt a moment where the conversation wasnt enjoyable either. knowledge of lake/fishing and conversation made for a great time and our choice for the next trip when we are back in Belton!!

Great Outing
Took my 10 yr old with Captain Guy on Lake Belton - excellent trip, could not have been better! Really nice boat and fishing rods. Captain Guy called and texted info to make sure we would have a good trip. 10 yr old very happy and wanting to go again! Mission accomplished!

Mr Guy Coleman was a great Captain! This experience was great for me and three kids.
