Boomcoast Adventures – Apalachicola 

If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Boomcoast Adventures – Apalachicola. With Captain Josh at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Speckled Trout, Tripletail, Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Tarpon, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some.

You’ll target your catch by spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Josh also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Capt. Josh runs an 18’ Aluminum fishing with a capacity for 2 passengers.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
