Offshore fishing has a fish with your name on it, so let Chubby Mullet Charters help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Colt can tell you all about the local fishery.
Around here it's common to catch Blackfin Tuna, Vermilion Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Sailfish, Mutton Snapper, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Colt welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 32' Regulator center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled water is included, free of charge, but feel free to bring your own drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality, with Chubby Mullet Charters.
