Striped Bass, White Bass, Catfish, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right. On these trips, you can expect to troll using light tackle. You’re free to keep some of the fish you catch, so long as regulations allow it. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. How’s that for fresh seafood?

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 22’ Sea Hunt center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
