Let It Fly Fishing Charters is all about fishing the stunning waters of Port Of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
Tarpon, Kingfish, Jack Crevalle, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjack, Spanish Mackerel, and more could be biting, depending on conditions. On these trips, you can expect to troll using light tackle. Capt. Peter also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.
Captain Peter will bring you aboard a 32’ Performance fishing with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is provided when available, be sure to ask about it. Catch and cleaning is subject to availability. Ask Capt. Peter and he can tell you more.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, and you may let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Your trip with Let It Fly Fishing Charters is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
