The fish in these waters include Redfish, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and more, depending on the season. You can expect to do a lot of fly fishing, as that is what Captain Mike specializes in.

Your trip begins aboard a 17’ Maverick flats boat with space for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide all necessary fly fishing equipment, but if you have a favorite rod, by all means, bring it!

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. water, soft drinks, and ice are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
