Species like Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. Depending on what you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Rick also offers fly fishing!
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Rick runs an 17’ east cape skiff that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Rick will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures and live bait. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I hooked a fish that swam through a downed tree and tangled my line….Rick jumped in the water in an attempt to salvage the catch! A super enjoyable experience and would definitely fish with him again.
